Andrew Sings

Several of you have asked if I could post something with Andrew singing. This trio was put together a couple of hours before a Sunday evening service recently. Andrew loves to sing - he would sing to a rock if the rock would listen. In case some of you don't know - he's the first tenor on the left. I hope this posts OK - it took me an hour to upload it!

When Eric was in about the 3rd or 4th grade he came home from school and told me he learned something that day...he could make his voice go up and then go down! Obviously Andrew has natural singing ability as well as performance skills. How fun to watch and see a college kid using his talents for the Lord.

Absolutely awesome in every respect, especially the ending. Wow! It has always been a dream of mine to be able to sing and harmonize like that. The accapello factor makes it even better! My 2 biggest fantasies in life was to be 1. the Cub's radio announcer
2. to be a great singer. (I still fantasize about the latter -- being onstage singing like Bill Gaither, George Strait, George Jones, Ricky Skaggs, etc. etc.)
And I love Southern Gospel the most, so thank you Ann for posting, and Andrew -- keep it up!

Of course, Grandma is positiviely prejudiced. Her hope and prayer is that Andrew will continue to use his talent for the Lord and that this will be a blessing to many others.

Cleve, I understand your goal to be a great singer. I always thought it would be nice to sing with Lynn. Then I realized if God had wanted him to have a spouse to complement his singing talent, He would have provided such. I also learned early on that even without special talents, there are multiple outlets and opportunities to be active in the Lord's work.

Hello from college (actually from home this morning). I do not have an account but am posting as "anonymous." Thank you for your kind comments and encouragement. I appreciate it very much! I hope to keep singing but at the same time keep a humble spirit too - I want to glorify God with all that I do. In Christ, Andrew

And a proud aunt has just played it over and over. I'm at my friends' home, and they are quite impressed as well.

I pointed out which was Andrew to their son, and he said "Yeah, I can tell from the hair." ???? He then explained that he think he's seen a picture of Andrew and remembered from that. I wasn't quite sure how Andrew's hair linked him to me.
